I am a marital and family therapist and registered art therapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. I completed my undergraduate degree cum laude at Boston University, and my M.A. in marital and family therapy (clinical art therapy) at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I was selected for and completed a highly competitive post-graduate fellowship at Cedars-Sinai, Thalians-Department of Psychiatry in Los Angeles focusing on advanced diagnostic skills and therapeutic interventions. In addition to my private psychotherapy practice, I do work with the Eating Disorder Resource Center of Silicon Valley (EDRC) and am very active in advocacy efforts to ensure proper funding and resources for the awareness, education, treatment and prevention of eating disorders.
